The idea for TeaFit was born during a trip to Japan, where founder Jyoti Bharadwaj discovered the popularity of unsweetened tea and herb-based beverages for their health benefits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Back in India, she saw a gap in the market for such beverages, given the high prevalence of Type II diabetes in the country. Jyoti and her team spent months sourcing and brewing different teas and herbs, eventually creating three formulations with 15 super herbs each.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They faced resistance from flavour houses that insisted on adding sugar to the drinks but eventually found a partner who shared their vision. After designing a minimalist bottle and securing licenses and packaging, they produced a pilot batch of 2000 bottles, which received overwhelmingly positive feedback from retailers and consumers alike.
