The founders (cousins) have a pharmaceutical background, and their family is involved in Ayurvedic medicine. They were themselves smokers, and the concept of organic smokes was derived only from smoking.
One regular day, when smoking, they thought of using some other ingredients other than tobacco. So, they gathered some basil, green tea, and rose petals, formed a combination, wrapped it into a piece of paper, and smoked it. They also talked with physicians to assure that it was safe.
They tried with numerous combinations to create organic cigarettes without nicotine. They turned to Ayurveda for solutions and came up with the concept of combining basil leaves and green tea as fundamental ingredients.
Following eight months of product testing, they discovered a combination that got positive feedback from family and friends. The end result is Organic Smokes.
