Bhaskar, the founder of Bhaskar’s Puranpoli Ghar, started his career as a waiter in a restaurant in Karnataka. After working in various small jobs for about eight years, he began selling Puranpolis on a bicycle and later on the roadside. Initially, he made the Puranpolis himself, and as people started liking the taste, he bought a shop and began selling them from there.
Over time, Bhaskar established his own brand called ‘’Bhaskar’s Mane Holige’’ in Karnataka in 2015, and the business started to grow. He later expanded the brand by establishing several franchises in Karnataka.
Bhaskar then partnered with Vittal Shetty and Saurabh Choudhary in Maharashtra to further grow his business & established a new brand called ‘Bhaskar’s Puranpoli Ghar.’
Together, they opened their first restaurant in Thane, Mumbai, followed by two more in Mumbai and one in Pune. Despite starting with humble beginnings, Bhaskar’s Puranpoli Ghar has become a well-known and popular food brand in Bengaluru and Maharashtra.
