A 50-year-old businessman, Dayanand Darekar, originally from Latur, Maharashtra, has transformed a long-held dream into reality by converting a mobile container into a distinctive venue for weddings and other events. With over two decades of expertise in event management, Darekar spearheads this project alongside Omkar Darekar and Sangita Darekar. Their collective experience ensures the smooth operation and management of this unique venture.
This innovative concept is not limited to wedding ceremonies; the mobile container can also serve as an emergency hospital setup or accommodate various functions and events. Perched atop a sturdy truck frame, the ‘Chalte Firte Mangalkaryalay’ unfolds into a spacious 1,200 square-foot wedding hall. It offers ample space to comfortably seat up to 150 guests or accommodate up to 300 guests with floor seating arrangements. The fully air-conditioned hall is thoughtfully equipped with essential amenities, including a stage, mandap, and sound system.
