In 2016, four friends named Dheeraj Jain, Chirag Gupta, Gautam Yadav, and Aakaar Gandhi, realized that the adventure travel market is very fragmented and disorganized, even though it is growing by 200 percent every year.
They got the idea to start Deyor Camp in April 2016 so travellers could find different kinds of alternative places to stay, check information about each campsite, and help campsites build trust with potential customers.
Though it was started as a campsite aggregator company, the founders realized that they could not bring sustainability to it; & they were making losses in the business. So, in 2019, they decided to go India outbound & hence started working on it as a travel tech company.

Deyor is a lifestyle community of travellers looking to book their next vacation. Deyor is now growing at an exponential rate post-Covid, with operations in Pan India and more than 20 countries globally and counting.
They aim to remove travel agents from the process to provide clients with the best traveling experience possible and redefine what it means to go on a trip. At the moment, 21 destination specialists are working for the team.
